Srinagar, February 12 (KNO) : Today morning, Police station Larnoo received a call from Matigawran that one pregnant lady (name withheld) resident of Matigawran Kokernag Anantnag is in dire need of medical treatment and due to continuous snowing /accumulation of snow on the roads, transport facility is not available. On this call, the information was conveyed to SSP Anantnag /SDPO Kokernag ; where from after seeking guidance police party of Police station Larnoo led by SHO Inspector Bashir Ahmad proceeded towards Matigawran for the rescue. Since the dilapidated /snow covered road, the police party managed to reach the spot after covering almost fifteen kilometres by foot and transported the pregnant lady in police vehicle from Matigawran to Primary Health Center Larnoo & there by saved a precious life. People have of the area have hailed the helping hand of police.(KNO)
